Angel tattoos

Angels are one of Matt's favourite subjects, a theme with deep roots in classical and religious art that lends itself beautifully to black and grey. From Renaissance inspired Annunciation figures and archangels to guardian angels, cherubs and full ascending hosts, the subject works across a huge range of designs. They can be placed anywhere on the body and designed to suit that placement, often paired with details like halos, sunbursts or geometric framing.
